Bio: Paula Brandenburg founded Respekt after spending more than 25 years as a teacher in elementary, middle and high schools. Since 2005, Paula has conducted youth and adult leadership, character development, and team building programs at the local, regional and national levels for the Boy Scouts of America, one of the nation’s largest values-based youth development organizations.
Deeply concerned by the increasing lack of respect she observed in society, Paula created Respekt to help teens and adults develop the mindset and skills needed to transform not only their personal and professional lives, but ultimately, the communities in which they live.
As a master teacher, she utilizes differentiation and immersion techniques to develop curriculum and create a customized experience for each learner. Paula is also recognized for her expertise in behavior management.
A few of the forums that Respekt offers are Respect is Listening, Respecting Change, and Respecting Differences. Respekt also offers programs that are composed of sections of or entire forums and are developed specifically for each audience. This has been done for Executive Coaching and Individual Employee Development and for Middle school parents, Paula put together the program, “Surviving Middle School Respectfully”.
It is Paula’s vision that Respekt will lead positive change in many individual lives as well as communities and make our World a more respectful place.
